Preferred Lawn and Garden is a family-owned and -operated landscape supply company that offers pickup and delivery options for all your landscaping supplies and products. Whether you are renovating the landscaping outside of your business or building your dream backyard, we have what you need and more! Our location is home to a large variety of landscape mulch, decorative rock, crushed stone gravel, topsoil conditioner, landscaping stone, flag stone and wall stone, and other products. 

Based in Kernersville, NC, our team takes pride in supplying a variety of hardscaping and landscaping supplies to clients throughout Greensboro, Oak Ridge, Summerfield, High Point, Winston-Salem, NC, and all of Guilford County.

Born and raised in Kernersville, NC, brothers, Brian and Jamie Davis have been in the landscaping industry for more than 20 years. Over time, they noticed how the landscaping supplies chains were limited to the area and saw an opportunity that would benefit them and their community!


In 2009, the Brothers opened Preferred Lawn and Garden where Quality Material and Customer Service were their Top Priorities! Over the past 13 years, the brothers have continued to expand the business in every direction possible. From farming their own Long Leaf Pine Needles down in Pinehurst to making their own mulch up in Walnut Cove, (which will soon be a second location open to the public in 2023), these brothers go non-stop. 

Even with all the growth, they have made sure two things have stayed the same - Offering Qualtiy Materials and Unbeatable Customer Service!
